Book Recommendations 003

Here are five books recommendations. I have read most of them, but a few are ones that I want to read and have researched them to make sure they have good reviews and seem like genuinely excellent reads.

1.) Ready Player One by Ernst Cline: This book takes place in the future. It deals one main character… and a virtual world, unlocking puzzles, and crazy master-minds. Why wouldn’t you read this book?

2.) Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth: This one’s a mix of sci-fi and fantasy. Basically, there’s a planet that is divided between two sides, each wanting to rule the full planet. Beware, you will fall in love with the planet, and with the characters.

3.) Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake: In this book, there  are 3 Queens, all sisters, fighting for the crown. In this messed up society, a past Queen will have triplets. Those triplets will take over their mothers kingdom, and will eventually learn to fight. Once they learn to fight, they must fight against one another. The one who doesn’t die will rule the kingdom. One kingdom is poison, where people can make and eat powerful poisons. The second is the elements kingdom. Where they can control earth, water, air, and fire. In the third kingdom, they have animal companions and basically control the earth itself.

4.) The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid: In this read, there is a girl that is programmed to do one thing, to protect one person at all costs. Eventually, she realizes that in order to protect the person, she must become the person. This Sci-Fi read is very unexpected and very, very good.

5.) Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: Now, I won’t say much because this books best traits are the problem solving and unexpectedness. I will say that it is written in an unusual format that gives it a indescribable uniqueness. I will also say, it’s cool.
